यह अविष्कार का अब तक का पहला संस्करण है और हमें यह देखकर खुशी हुई कि हमें प्रतियोगिता में 10 क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में 150 से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ मिलीं, जिनमें 3 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्में भी शामिल थीं, जिनमें से एक फ्रांस, रोमानिया और पाकिस्तान से थी। जूरी को विजेताओं का निर्णय लेने में कठिन समय लगा। कुछ फिल्मों की गुणवत्ता वास्तव में असाधारण है। सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्में पाने के लिए इन फिल्म निर्माताओं द्वारा की गई असाधारण मेहनत और रचनात्मकता को देखकर खुशी होती है।

बॉलीवुड के जाने-माने मार्शल आर्ट गुरु चीता यज्ञेश शेट्टी अब प्रोफेसर डॉ. चीता यज्ञेश शेट्टी बन गए हैं। उन्हें हाल ही में ‘ग्लोबल मार्शल आर्ट्स यूनिवर्सिटी ग्रांट कमीशन’ द्वारा ‘मार्शल आर्ट्स प्योर साइंस में डॉक्टरेट ऑफ फिलैंथरोपी (पीएचडी)’ की डिग्री से सम्मानित किया गया है।

माननीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री श्री नितिन गडकरी ने चीता यज्ञेश शेट्टी को इस सम्मान से सम्मानित किया और ढेर सारी शुभकामनाएं दी। मंत्री ने मानव जाति की दिशा में उनके महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित किया।

चीता यज्ञेश शेट्टी का कहना है कि उनके परिवार के सपोर्ट के बिना यह सब हासिल करना काफी मुश्किल होता। उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी अमरजीत कौर शेट्टी और बेटे त्रिशान शेट्टी के समर्थन और योगदान का भी जिक्र किया।

ऑडियो इंजीनियरिंग और विज्ञापन की पृष्ठभूमि वाले एक व्यक्ति बॉलीवुड में संगीतकार के रूप में शुरुआत करने जा रहे हैं! युवा और प्रतिभाशाली जेडी सिंह का खूबसूरत गाना, ‘बिछड़ गए हम यारा..’ ज़ी म्यूजिक पर रिलीज़ हुआ है। जेडी ने संगीत प्रतिभा के धनी गीतकार कुमार और शानदार गायक राज बर्मन को धन्यवाद दिया।

जेडी ने कहा, “यह एक ही समय में प्यार और खालीपन की कहानी है।” “भगवान दयालु हैं।

आत्मविश्वास से भरे जेडी कहते हैं, ”इलैयाराजा सर, ए आर रहमान सर और नुसरत साहब जैसे महान लोगों के रूप में मेरी संगीत की जड़ें और प्रभाव होने के कारण, मेरे सपने ऊंचाई पर हैं।”

दिल्ली के रहने वाले जेडी मुंबई में संगीत और गाने का काम कर रहे हैं और “ईमानदारी से कहूं तो मैं फिल्मों से लेकर एल्बम तक कुछ भी करने के लिए तैयार हूं और कई गाने पाइपलाइन में भी हैं।”

“मेरे जल्द ही कुछ बड़े प्रोजेक्ट्स रिलीज होने वाले हैं। मेरा जीवन काफी हद तक मेरे स्टूडियो तक ही सीमित है, जहां मैं सिर्फ नए विचारों के बारे में सोचता हूं, संगीत बनाने पर विचार करता हूं और यदि इनमें से कुछ नहीं है तो कुछ बजाता हूं..जिसमें हमेशा संगीत ही संगीत होना चाहिए ,” जेडी मुस्कान के साथ बताते हैं।

“जब मैं एक गायक बनने के लिए मुंबई आया था तो मुझे बहुत कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा, लेकिन मैंने अपना ऑडियो इंजीनियरिंग डिप्लोमा पूरा किया और यहीं पर गाना बनाने का जुनून वास्तव में मुझ पर हावी हो गया और यहीं मुझे एक टीवी शो संगीतकार के रूप में अपना पहला काम मिला। फिर विज्ञापन हुए और मैंने ज़ोलो नामक ब्रांड के लिए संगीत दिया। मैंने लगभग २०० जिंगल के लिए संगीत निर्देशक के रूप में काम किया है।”

पसंदीदा शैलियों के बारे में बात करते हुए, जेडी बताते हैं, “हम संगीतकारों को किसी एक जॉनर को पसंद करने की अनुमति नहीं है। वास्तव में हमें सभी शैलियों को देखने में सहज होना चाहिए। जैसे कि मेरी अगली रिलीज इस से बिल्कुल अलग होगी।”

बचपन से ही गायक रहे जेडी कुछ अच्छा संगीत बनाना चाहते हैं “जिससे लोग भावनात्मक रूप से जुड़ सकें।”

अपनी पृष्ठभूमि के बारे में पूछे जाने पर, जेडी बिना किसी खेद के बताते हैं, “खैर, मैं कभी भी बहुत ज्यादा पढ़ाई करने का इच्छुक नहीं रहा क्योंकि मुझे हमेशा से संगीत में रुचि थी, लेकिन हां मैंने अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी कर ली है।”

अपने शौक के बारे में जेडी कहते हैं, “मुझे अपने परिवार के साथ समय बिताना और वेब सीरीज में कुछ फिल्में देखना पसंद है। मैं बहुत सारी स्टैंड-अप कॉमेडी देखता हूं।”

अपकमिंग सीरीज “एक अधूरी कहानी” में कई चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट अपने हुनर को दिखा रहे हैं। ईरिया मेहता छोटो उम्र में इस सीरीज में काम कर रही हैं। साथ ही 11 साल की अनुष्का राजधरे कुमार की भी इसमें महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। वहीं 22 महीने की दित्या भी आर्टिस्ट हैं। इस सीरीज में ऋषि पाल, गणेश नलावाड़े, सुधीर नगर, ममता पवार, पायल शाह, जगन्नाथ गवई, नंदा गायकवाड़ इत्यादि कई कलाकार हैं।

निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली की हॉरर सीरीज एक अधूरी कहानी की शूटिंग मुम्बई के विभिन्न लोकेशन्स में की जा रही है। यह 52 एपिसोड की सीरीज है जिसकी कहानी हॉरर और थ्रिलर का मिश्रण है।

निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली का कहना है कि यह सीरीज एक रियल घटना से प्रेरित है जिसका नाम है “एक अधूरी कहानी”।

तेजी से बन रही इस सीरीज को लेकर बी एस अली बेहद उत्साहित हैं। बी एस अली ने कहा कि इस हॉरर सीरीज की शूटिंग मुंबई में जोर शोर से जारी है। सीरीज को जल्द एक बड़े ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म पर रिलीज़ करने का प्लान है।

उन्होंने कहा कि एक अधूरी कहानी की स्टोरी रियल घटना पर बेस्ड है। सीरीज दर्शको को बांध कर रखेगी और उन्हें कुछ सोचने पर भी मजबूर करेगी।

इससे पहले फिल्म “लव स्टोरी” प्रोड्युस कर चुके निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली ने कहा कि हॉरर होने के बावजूद सीरीज में मनोरंजन का भी बड़ा स्कोप है और सीरीज में कई चीजे हैं।

निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली ने यहां आगे बताया कि यह सीरीज बडी मेहनत और शिद्दत से बनाया है। इसमे दीपाली पंचाल सहित कई कलाकारो ने अभिनय किया है।

सीरीज के लिए ढेर सारे नए कलाकारों का सिलेक्शन हुआ है। देश के कोने कोने से कलाकारों को सेलेक्ट करके उनकी ग्रूमिंग करके बीएस अली ने उन्हें इस सीरीज में काम दिया है। इस सीरीज के आगे के एपिसोड्स की कास्टिंग जारी है।

ईरिया मेहता  छोटी उम्र में कर रही हैं सीरीज “एक अधूरी कहानी” में काम

यूनिवर्सल इंटरप्राइजेज एंड फिल्म्स और शोथीम प्रोडक्शन ने 18 जून, 2023 को द प्राइड होटल, पुणे में मिस यूनिवर्सल 2023 का पहला ऑडिशन किया। इस ऑडिशन में 16 से 29 साल की उम्र के लगभग 50 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। सभी मॉडल्स ने ऑडिशन में क्वालीफाई करने के लिए रैंप वॉक टेस्ट, आईक्यू टेस्ट दिया। दोनों आयोजकों मिस्टर यूसुफ और संजीव ने कहा कि वे ग्रैंड फिनाले से पहले आने वाले महीने में भारत के विभिन्न शहरों में लगभग 8 और ऑडिशन करने जा रहे हैं। 16 सितंबर, 2023 को मुंबई में इसका फिनाले आयोजित किया जाएगा।

मिस यूनिवर्सल 2023 का पहला ऑडिशन पुणे के द प्राइड होटल में सम्पन्न

The Khudabadi Amil Panchayat of Mumbai organized a free eye check-up camp. This initiative was jointly conducted in association with Beyond Vision Foundation.
The event focused on creating awareness about the significance of eye care. Apart from measuring eye power, eye health education & awareness sessions were conducted to increase awareness and knowledge of common eye diseases like cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and other vision disabilities. Timely eye checkup helps to minimize the risk of eye diseases and prevent loss of vision and blindness that can arise from factors that range from age.

The conference welcomed participants and delegates who travelled from global nations including: United Kingdom, USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, France, India, Iran and others. It was graced with the presence of the honourable Counsellor Sunil Chopra, Mayor of Southwark, United Kingdom. Participants and delegates found innovative solutions towards helping global societies and were inspired by the Keynote address delivered by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani.  Within GRC 2023 Prof. Dr. Parin Somani launched her book namely MANIFEST INNER BEAUTY: PART I’.  Currently Prof. Dr. Parin Somani is in the process of writing Manifest Inner Beauty: Part II.

Prof. Dr. Parin Somani was invited as Keynote Speaker at the Harvard University, United States of America in May 2022 to help global society at large.  In addition, she has also been invited at many Doordarshan (TV Channel) in India to inspire and help females around the world, recently, this year to celebrate International Women’s Day 8th March 2023. She was invited to Delhi Doorshan (DD) in Delhi where she was one of the Esteemed Guest Speakers where she motivated the masses through her journey of women empowerment to help women around the world. She has also received Nari Shakti Awards on the International Women’s Day from various Institutions from different countries around the world. She was also honoured with the Mother Teresa Humanity Award, the Kabir Kohinoor Award, Women Excellence Awards. Prof. Dr. Parin Somani has also received the She Inspires Award from House of Parliament in London and many more international and national awards from numerous governors.

Prof. Dr. Parin Somani has travelled to more than 117 countries globally to conduct research, impart knowledge and help humanity.  On 18th May 2023 Prof. Dr. Parin Somani actively contributed to the World Peace Summit 2023 where she was invited by Vishwa Humanity United International Royal Council to deliver a talk at the event.  She imparted her valuable insights and inspiration within her presentation in the capacity of an Honourable speaker.  She spoke on the theme of ‘World Peace and SDGs’ to global audiences. She helped to raise global awareness to secure lasting world peace and to demonstrate tolerance, respect and understanding by acknowledging unity in diversity. In addition, on 22nd May 2023 Prof Dr. Parin Somani was invited by IIU where she spoke on how to promote peace and Justice through strengthening institutions.

फ़िल्म के प्रोड्यूसर आर एमजे मीडिया वेंचर प्राइवेट लिमिटेड हैं जबकि लेखक निर्देशक हरिपाल रावत ने फ़िल्म के गाने भी लिखे हैं और उन्होंने ही फ़िल्म में मुख्य भूमिका निभाई है। फ़िल्म के संगीतकार हरीश श्रीवास, डीओपी चितरंजन धाल हैं। हरिपाल रावत के अलावा फिल्म में रामा मेहरा, महिमा गुप्ता, वर्षा कापेकर, पृथ्वी, रज़ा मुराद, मोहन जोशी, मुश्ताक खान, शिवा, शशि शर्मा इत्यादि ने अभिनय किया है।

रामा मेहरा ने बताया कि हरिपाल रावत एक बेहतरीन लेखक हैं, उनकी कई किताबें प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं और अब इस फ़िल्म के माध्यम से वह बतौर ऎक्टर निर्देशक भी अपना सफर शुरू कर रहे हैं। उनमें आत्मविश्वास भरा हुआ है और उन्होंने पूरी शिद्दत से फ़िल्म बनाई है। चूंकि उन्होंने कहानी भी लिखी है इसलिए उन्हें हर सीन हर डायलॉग याद था और शूटिंग पर उन्होंने बखूबी परफॉर्म किया है।

हरिपाल रावत ने कहा कि मेरा इरादा ऎक्टर या निर्देशक बनने का नहीं था लेकिन जब मैंने देखा कि आज लोग किताबें उस संख्या में नहीं पढ़ते जितने ज्यादा लोग फिल्मे देखते हैं इसलिए अपने विचार को अवाम के सामने पेश करने के लिए मैंने यह फ़िल्म बनाई है। हम लगातार फिल्मे बनाते रहेंगे इसके बाद दो और फ़िल्म भी आ रही है। चूंकि रामा मेहरा की फिल्मों के नाम  के से शुरू होता है इसलिए इसका टाइटल काश सोच लेती एक बार रखा। ऐसी कहानी आप लोगों ने शायद ही फिल्मों में देखी होगी जहां मां बेटी एक ही व्यक्ति से मोहब्बत करने लगती हैं। फ़िल्म का म्युज़िक भी इसका प्लस पॉइंट है जिसके गाने मैंने ही लिखे हैं। फ़िल्म जून 2023 में रिलीज होने जा रही है।

By the end of the 1960s, Hindi cinema was poised for a change. The decade had largely been about escapist cinema, and though some of these had great songs, there was little that was creative and path-breaking by way of content. The odd exceptions – Bandini, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Anupama and Teesri Kasam – only proved the rule about a decade that replaced the artistic aspirations of the 1950s with what has in effect come to define ‘Bollywood song-and-dance’ cinema.

The advent of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in 1962 played an important part in this change, with its first batches beginning to enter the industry, bringing in a change in aesthetics. The year 1969 was to be a watershed in the history of Hindi cinema, with three films that proved instrumental in ushering in a new language, heralding the New Wave in Hindi cinema: Mrinal Sen’s Bhuvan Shome, Mani Kaul’s Uski Roti and Basu Chatterjee’s Sara Akash (all three were shot by K.K. Mahajan, who had graduated from the FTII in 1966, and who became synonymous with the New Wave and with the cinema of Basu Chatterjee).

Of these three film-makers, Mrinal Sen remained rooted largely to Bengali films and Mani Kaul carved a space for a personal cinema free of commercial considerations. It was Basu Chatterjee who, in conjunction with the films of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Gulzar, provided an alternative to the big-budget extravaganza of mainstream films of the era (the Manmohan Desais and Prakash Mehras) and the spare aesthetics of arthouse cinema (driven by Shyam Benegal).

The importance of Basu Chatterjee lies in the kind of cinema he popularised when juxtaposed against the cinema that ruled the box office at the time. The 1970s was the decade of the big blockbuster – Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Deewaar, Sholay, Amar Akbar Anthony. Yash Chopra and Ramesh Sippy, Nasir Hussain and Shakti Samanta were the dream merchants. Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor and Rajesh Khanna were the role models for the filmy hero, while Zeenat Aman and Hema Malini set a million young hearts aflutter. The aesthetic of Hindi cinema was larger-than-life.

They were not heroes and heroines, but the man and woman next door

Basu Chatterjee provided an alternative. His debut, Sara Akash, belonged firmly to the New Wave school of spare film-making. He however jettisoned this soon, opting for a middle road between this and the big-budget extravaganza. In doing so he made ‘small’ beautiful and commercially viable. With Rajnigandha (1974), he revolutionised Hindi cinema, casting rank newcomers in a literary classic by Mannu Bhandari. The film, unlike any other film of the time (a runtime of approximately two hours, no lip-synched songs, no fights, no flashy clothes and make-up for its actors who looked nothing like Greek gods) broke all records at the box office. He had already shown a penchant for a different approach to the cinema of the city in Piya Ka Ghar (1971), dealing with a couple finding their way to love and domesticity in the confined spaces of a one-room tenement in Mumbai shared by the extended family. While the latter starred Jaya Bhaduri (in one of her early roles) and Anil Dhawan (fresh from the FTII), Rajnigandha made stars of the unlikely duo of Amol Palekar and Vidya Sinha.

Over the next few films, Basu Chatterjee made his school of cinema an audience favourite. Chhoti Si Baat and Chitchor, both 1976, starred Amol Palekar, who soon came to be termed ‘the Amitabh Bachchan of middle-of-the-road cinema’. In Vidya Sinha, the director gave Hindi cinema the very antithesis of the ’70s heroine. His characters epitomised the Everyman. They were not heroes and heroines, but the man and woman next door. The men were not macho style icons. They were often gentle, hesitant and even lacking in ambition. The women were down to earth and real, not coy and simpering. And their world consisted of humble middle-class drawing rooms, local bus stops and trains, and office corners. Even when he cast superstars like Amitabh Bachchan (Manzil, inspired by Mrinal Sen’s Akash Kusum) and Dharmendra (Dillagi, with Hema Malini), the stars willingly shed their starry mannerisms to play everyday characters.

His spotlight was on literary classics, communities and women

No one brought alive particular communities as lovingly as he did in his films like Khatta Meetha (the Parsis) and Baaton Baaton Mein (the Christians in Mumbai). And few film-makers of the time were as adept at adapting literary classics as he was – Sara Akash (from a novel by Rajendra Yadav), Piya Ka Ghar (Vasant Kale, or Va Pu), Rajnigandha (based on a short story by Mannu Bhandari), Ratnadeep (Prabhat Mukhopadhyay), Swami and Apne Paraye (based on novels by Saratchandra Chattopadhyay) – giving his cinema a unique literary sensibility.

One of the most revolutionary aspects of his cinema lay in the woman his films portrayed. Right from Malti in Piya Ka Ghar, they were independent women with a mind of their own. They were determined, focused and unwilling to bow down to convention just because society demanded it. Vidya Sinha’s Deepa in Rajnigandha is revolutionary in the way she is shown as unable to make up her mind about the two men she is dating. Zarina Wahab’s Geeta in Chitchor decides to follow her heart in the face of family opposition. In Swami, the woman reads Thomas Hardy and is torn between the man she thinks is her intellectual equal and her ‘simple’ husband. These women challenged the existing tropes on the portrayal of women in Hindi cinema.

Wah, what songs! ‘Yeh jeevan hai’ to ‘Kai baar yunhi dekha hai’ to ‘Rimjhim gire sawan’

This ability to carve out a different cinema was visible in the songs in his films as well. From ‘Yeh jeevan hai’ in Piya Ka Ghar to ‘Rajnigandha phool tumhare’ in Rajnigandha (‘Kai baar yunhi dekha hai’ from the same film won a National Award) to the evergreen songs of Chitchor to ‘Rimjhim gire sawan’ (arguably the finest rain song in Hindi cinema) in Manzil, the cinema of Basu Chatterjee provided Hindi cinema with some of its most loved and enduring classics.

The dream of 1969 was to prove short-lived. By the end of the 1970s, the cinema of the Basu Chatterjee-Hrishikesh Mukherjee-Gulzar School was shutting shop. Driven by a changing demographic, the onslaught of video piracy, some indifferent films by the film-makers themselves, and the advent of TV as a popular medium, kitschy commercial films were making a comeback in a big way and the next decade would witness a new low for Hindi films.

Basu Chatterjee, of course, led the first wave of top-notch and popular content in television with serials like Rajani, Byomkesh Bakshi, Darpan and Kakaji Kahin proving to be trailblazers. His legacy lives on in the cinema of every filmmaker who explores the life and world of the Everyman.

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस की काफी अच्छी शुरुआत हुई जब इंडो-रोमानिया फिल्म एंड कल्चरल फोरम ने इंटरनेशनल चैंबर ऑफ मीडिया एंड एंटरटेनमेंट इंडस्ट्री और रोमानिया के दूतावास के सहयोग से विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मारवाह स्टूडियो में एक बेहतरीन डॉक्यूमेंट्री फ़िल्म “अंटेम्ड रोमानिया” की विशेष स्क्रीनिंग के साथ मनाया।

Passionate about singing since childhood, Anuja Sahai is a name who is slowly and steadily making waves and creating her own space  in people’s hearts. When asked what kind of roles she would like to portray on screen, Anuja Sahai quips, “I am a huge fan of meaningful Hindi cinema where women are not just used as props but they have substantial roles to play in the movies and take the narratives of the films forward. I have grown up watching such movies where women drive and lead the films as central characters.”

Further elaborating about her idea of doing films as an actor, Anuja Sahai says, “I would love to do roles which were portrayed by Meena Kumari, Waheeda Rehman and Nutan on screen. All these heroines are not just regarded for their immense acting capabilities but till now they are respected for the powerful characters they portrayed in various films”. She further adds, “If we talk about today’s  generation, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt had also done roles in meaningful films which were authored backed as main protagonists and succeeded in winning people’s hearts with their outstanding performances. I would love to do varied roles in all genres where I can showcase my talent as an actor who is capable of doing all kinds of roles.The OTT Platforms have emerged as a great space to showcase your acting capabilities, especially when you see Sonakshi Sinha doing Dahaad’ and Sanya Malhotra essay a headstrong female protagonist in Kathal; such characters boost your adrenaline and eventually, your dream roles’.

Interestingly, after getting a degree in Electronics and finishing her course in Marketing In MBA, Anuja Sahai worked in a multinational company in Hyderabad for over a year but soon she decided to shift her base to Mumbai so that she can pursue singing and acting. Apart from singing in Hindi and English, she is comfortable singing in multiple languages which also includes Punjabi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Marathi, Bengali and other southern languages. Her hit songs includes ‘Payal’, ‘Rajaji’, ‘Meera’, ‘Bitiya Howe Chiraiya’, ‘Pub G Ki Game’, ‘Dil Hoom Hoom’, ‘Talash Khud Ki’, ‘Gallan Mahi Diyan’ and many others.
