The films that have been shortlisted for voting include a walk down the school memories lane with ‘Aathmam’; ‘Aavrati’ that presents a teenage girl’s encounter with a good-hearted cop; a first-hand and unique account of the Bhopal tragedy in ‘Bhopal Diaries 2012’; Anshuman Chakraborty’s ‘Ei… Taxi…! (A Call To Kill)’; a story of a cursed mango tree in ‘Matsya Avathaaram’; Karan Tejpal’s ‘No Anaesthesia’; Ganesh Matkari’s take on sexuality the glamour world ‘Shot’; and Pranav Harihar Sharma’s intriguing tale of a domestic violence victim, ‘Watermelon’. ‘Ab Rab Havale’ starring Farida Jalal, Anoop Soni, Inamulhaq, Shilpa Saklani and Pooja Joshi portrays a heart-wrenching tale of partition, and an exploration of love way past its ‘expiry’ date,‘El’ayichi’ starring Nimrat Kaur, Divyendu Sharma and Vibha Chibber also feature among the top 10.

Mumbai, 05th August 2015: Bollywood’s favourite action-hero Akshay Kumar and his reel-brother Sidharth Malhotra launched the official Brothers game called ‘Brothers: Clash of Fighters’ at Bandra today. At the launch event, an animated Akshay Kumar/Sidharth Malhotra played the game to demonstrate the various moves of his character in the game. The ‘Brothers’ enjoyed playing the game and spoke about its features, controls, their experience while creating the game in association with VROOVY.
Brothers: Clash of Fighters is the official game of the Bollywood movie Brothers starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra. With 3D animated life-like characters from the movie played by Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra as well as a roster of international fighters, the game has an arcade street-fighting format featuring one-on-one close combat fights. The game ranges from ‘Arcade Mode’ for a quick fight of 3 rounds as well as a ‘Tournament Mode’, which will be launched on the release of the movie, where you must beat opponents, each more difficult than the last, all the while players must avoid getting knocked-out to win the ‘Right to Fight’ championship. Nana Patekar and Mahie Gill starrer ‘Wedding Anniversary’ wraps up shoot!
Mahie Gill plays Nana Patekar’s Muse in an upcoming romantic drama, Wedding Anniversary. The film which is entirely shot in Goa, rediscovers the true meaning of love.
Interestingly, this is the first time, Mahie and Nana will be seen together onscreen. She plays the protagonist, Kahani in the film and is seen painting the town red on her weddinganniversary with a mad, crazy writer Nagarjuna, played by Nana Patekar.
The film shot on the beautiful beaches -Bagha, Calangute, Candolim, captures the buzz, colours and nightlife of Goa that attracts people. The film recently completed its shoot.
Speaking about the film, the director Sudhanshu Jha says “Wedding Anniversary’ is essentially a film about love… Love that is magical, and love that resides in the secret corners of one’s heart.”

Actor Rajesh Bakshi injured during film shoot
Dr. Rajesh Bakshi, who has been involved in films since past many years.He, has been seen in more than 25 Hindi movies and some 22 Punjabi, Haryanvi and Rajasthani movies. He was injured during a film shoot. He is shooting for the movie ‘Mumbai Dreams’ .
He suffered injury to liver after falling. The shoot was happening at Haryana – Delhi border. He is stable after being admitted at Max Hospital in Delhi and will be discharged after one week. The movie director is Shivom Yadav.
FICCI-FLO launches “WE” – Women Employment in Education, an initiative towards employing women in schools.
The program aims to skill women in non-traditional jobs, thereby creating employment opportunities
Ensuring the safety of women and children whilst generating newer employment opportunities for women, was the motive with which the Women’s Wing of FICCI a.k.a. FLO launched “WE in Education”, an initiative towards empowering and skilling women for jobs in schools.
“WE in Education”, is aimed at training women for school jobs: as Security Guards, Canteen Staff, Bus Conductors, Bus Drivers and administrative posts. The program has various training agencies like Maruti Driving School and ASTM Security on board who will ready the women for these jobs. This unique initiative was launched in the presence of the Chief Guest Ms Amruta Fadnavis, Deputy Vice President of Transaction Banking – Corporate, Axis Bank and the wife of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
The other dignitaries included Ms Sonia Sethi, Transport Commissioner and Ms Indu Shahani, Ex-Sheriff of Mumbai and Principal of H.R College. Other stakeholders who would contribute towards the success of this program were also present:school owners and principals of leading schools in Mumbai; NGO partners who will mobilise girls for training; Security Companies who will train them as security guards;and Bus contractors and other service providers for schools.
Speaking at the occasion, Ms Falguni Padode , Chairperson, FLO Mumbai Chapter said, “FLO is in a unique position to effect real change – that of increasing women employment in schools leading to a win-win situation for all; employment opportunities for women in a safe environment and greater safety for our children in schools and on school buses. With our training partners on board, FLO with its 14 locations can potentially facilitate and catalyze the training of women for millions of school jobs.”
Lauding the initiative, Ms. Amruta Fadnavis (Deputy Vice President of Transaction Banking – Corporate, Axis Bank) said, “To bridge the gender disparity gap in our country, we need to strengthen the systems and processes that facilitate women in taking control and claiming ownership of their lives. To lend true meaning to ‘Empowerment of Women’ we have to expand their freedom of choices.
I welcome FICCI-FLOs initiative in skilling women in non-traditional jobs, where women are dramatically under-represented, where employment opportunities are plentiful and wages are also good.”
The program held at ITC Grand Central, saw a full house of enthusiastic members and supporters and culminated dramatically with the signing of a pledge by all the dignitaries and the stakeholders, sealing their commitment to collectively make it work.

Ranjeesh Duggal is real “Khatron Ka Khiladi” in film “UDANCHHOO”
Actor Rajneesh Duggal has certainly justified the title of “Khatron ke khiladi” that he won in the 5th season of the action based reality show. Recently while filming for his upcoming film “UDANCHHOO”, the actor had to do a perilous action sequence for one of the scene in the film.
Rajneesh who plays a con man in the film decided not to use a body double and performed the dare devil stunt on his own. On the dusty roads of Delhi and the scorching heat of the city, Rajneesh had many action packed scenes and the model turned actor was all gamed to do the stunts himself.
‘UDANCHHOO’ is a crime thriller film that also stars veteran actor Prem Chopra, Ashutosh Rana actress Bruna Abdullah and newbie Saisha Sehgal and is directed by Vipin Parashar. Ravindra Singh, MD of R Vision India Pvt. Ltd. is producing the film. The shooting for the film is currently on.

The entry is free and the timings were 4PM to 10PM.Director Mujeeb Khan’s name is already mentioned in Limca Book of Records for directing so many plays on the same writer. Director Shiraz Henry who has earlier directed films like ‘The dark secrets of Tonhi’ which was released in 2014 and ‘Beyond the third kind’ released in 2015 has formed a new production house by the name of “MIDDLE FINGER CREATIONS” and has made two movies under this banner in a span of 2 months . Shiraz Henry says he wants to make 100 such films where budget is less than 50 lacs per film by the end of 2016 December. Initially one movie every month till December 2015, then a target of 90 films in the year 2016. He will be taking different directors, writers, actors under this banner and plans to make Hindi, English as well as regional movies.
His latest film “FILMI RAASLEELA” is made under the banner of “MFC Middle Finger Creations” with new actors Faheem Khan, Gunjan Aras, Devi Dola, Jannat Shaikh, Shweta, Fareed Khan, Amit Aseem & Ramesh Venkatesh. It has two songs, 1 Item song ‘Pushpa Jawan Hui’, which is a hit song of this year and another ‘Dhankane Badh Rahi’, which was shot at various locations including Daman.
Item song is performed by sensational glamour doll, Jannat Shaikh. Also Ramesh Venkatesh who has acted in films like Robot is playing main negative character in this movie.
Famous Bollywood Star’s Doctor Rajesh Bakshi treats poor for free
Mumbai.Dr Rajesh Bakshi, who is renowned for treating movie stars, is also an actor. But, he still runs a dispensary for poor in front of Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri (West),Mumbai. When he started his medical career, he wanted to treat patients without using expensive medicines. So he adopted Acupressure. If a poor elderly woman comes to his clinic, he gives them money to pay for their travel. Many big names in film industry come to get treated for their back pain, throat pain, etc.
“We should do something for others too so that people remember you and even god helps those who help the poor. I have taken up this profession for helping others and not for minting money. I have also treated almost all big heroes, fight directors, dance directors and fight masters for back pain, body pain etc,” says Dr. Rajesh Bakshi.

Movie ‘Mid Night 12 O’clock – A Horror Love Story’ is made under the banner of Greenchilly Movie International and the writer – director is Pramod Rao Shirbhate. The shooting is completed and the post production has begun. Songs are sung by Shaan, Javed Ali, Mamta Sharma, Amit Kumar and others. The movie is a musical horror love story and includes all Masala. It has been made both in Hindi and Marathi. Abhishekh Chauhan and and Rohit Rajput are leads in Hindi, while Abhishek and Ajit Gade(Marathi film hero and choreographer) are in lead in Marathi.
In the movie a ghost gets married to a girl and after the first night a lot of strange thing begins to happen in the house. “People will be surprised to see the marriage, the first night with ghost and the subsequent happenings. This is a totally new concept,” says Pramod Rao Shirbhate.

Known for his astrology shows on the television on for past 10 years and His serial ‘Kismat Connection Sundeep Kochar Ke Sang’is air on Sahara One. Sundeep Kochar is now being seen for his potential as a chocolaty Villain in movies. The Limca books record holder was surprised to get offers for a negative role in films. This was confirmed by Sundeep when we contacted him. “It happened when one of my photographer friends clicked my pictures while portraying negative emotions. While editing she posted few pics on whatsapp to her casting directors group,” he elaborated.
And as they say, it is all about destiny, he got not one, but three offers from different production houses. “An actor is just a portrait of his director and has to deliver whatever he is asked for.” Sundeep summed up philosophically…

Vijay Badllani to perform in Munshi Premchand’s Festival in Mumbai

The festival is being organised since 2005. TV Actor Vijay G Badllani is featuring in some of these plays including ‘Dil Ki Raani’. It is an Urdu play about a cruel and rude king named Tamuuer(Vijay Badllani) and how he harms the masses by getting influenced by wrong people, thinking that he is doing right for Islam. It also shows how a girl named Habib disguises herself as male, changes the way of thinking of the king making him a good person and how their love story begins and makes history. Actor Vijay Badllani says “These plays give an actor so much satisfaction and it cannot be experiences anywhere else while acting. If any actor wants to polish or improve his skills, he should participate in a play. I really thank God and Mujeeb Sir for giving me this wonderful opportunity”
